                        Picking up the pieces

            FIRST ANNUAL MARINERS INN

                   GALLERY EXHIBITION

                              OPENING RECEPTION:

                     THURSDAY, AUGUST 20, 6-9 PM

EXHIBIT HOURS Friday, August 21 from 4:30 - 7:00pm Saturday, August 22 from 10:00 am - 5:00pm

 

 

	Thanks to a grant from the City of Detroit Parks and Recreation Department the clients in MER and TH are in the process of completing their Recycle, Reuse and Recover collaborative art project.  Through a series of art therapy workshops a Mosaic piece depicting the road to recovery has been created.
The Mosaic will be the central piece at our First Annual Mariners Inn Gallery Exhibition, which will be held at the Johanson Charles Gallery in Eastern Market.

	Opening reception: Thursday, August 20 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.  The show will run from Thursday, August 20 through Saturday, August 22.
The exhibition will also feature individual pieces created by the clients of Mariners Inn.
