How Does
Mariners Inn Support Its Programs?
To provide housing, food and treatment for over 375 men each year,
Mariners Inn has an annual operating budget of approximately $2.6 million.
We receive funding from state and federal agencies (such as HUD) as well
as grants from the City of Detroit,
but these sources only cover about 85% of the necessary budget. We also
depend on awards from private charitable foundations, individual
contributions and proceeds from fund raising activities.
