Volunteers from Big Beaver United Methodist make a difference!!!

On Saturday, May 1, 2011, a group of volunteers from the Big Beaver United Methodist Church in Troy painted hallways at Mariners Inn and worked on our flower beds.  The group selected Mariners Inn as one of the non-profit organizations to assist as part of their Change the World Day. Community support is greatly appreciated and much needed.

On Wednesday, April 27, 2011, David Sampson, CEO of Mariners Inn accepted an award on behalf of the organization. It was the Metro Detroit Youth Day XXIX 14th Annual Kick Off Spiritual  Prayer Breakfast.

Items needed in Mariners Inn Library

Mariners Inn maintains a library of reading material for our men's enjoyment and education. We are seeking Bibles, dictionaries, atlases and current reference materials, biographies (preferably inspirational or about people of positive achievement), educational nonfiction (sports, science, nature, religion, art, world cultures, history...), and new fiction (mystery, suspense, detective, espionage bestsellers.
