We are thrilled to announce the Black Boy Art Exhibit at the largest dedicated Artspace in Southeast Michigan for Juneteenth Weekend in Downtown Dearborn.
Juneteenth commemorates the day when African American slaves in Texas were informed of their freedom on June 19, 1865, two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed. This year marks the 156th anniversary of this historic day.
This unique event celebrates Black excellence through the powerful medium of art. Featuring works created by talented Black artists from the Mariners Inn treatment center, the Black Boy Art Exhibit showcases the beauty, strength, and resilience of the Black community.
The Black Boy Art Exhibit Opening Reception is 6:00 pm June 16, 2023. To purchase tickets please CLICK HERE
