Martin Luther King Jr. was an African American civil rights activist, who had a major impact on race relations in the United States. He played a pivotal role in ending legal segregation of African Americans through his unwavering activism, being a strong voice for social justice, community collaboration and change.
In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. and his work, the women of the Alpha Rho Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. donated dozens of blankets, winter coats, and Covid-19 kits to the men of Mariners Inn!
