We are happy to announce that we received a donation of $10,000 to kickstart our “Recovery is Real Renovation Campaign”.
We are embarking on a $100,000 fundraising campaign to update and renovate the cafeteria/multi-purpose room and kitchen. The goal is to make it a more welcoming space, to design a supportive and healing environment for trauma-experienced residents and clients, and to increase efficiency. The renovation project will consist of the following components:
Multi-Purpose Room
Kitchen
Serving Area
The redesigned serving area will honor the memory of Charles Johnson, a former Mariners Inn resident and kitchen staff member who passed away in 2021. We at Mariners inn were fortunate to have Charles as a fellow staff member and friend who blessed us with his piano playing and unwavering faith and encouragement to others.
Your support will play a key role in our success. Please join us on this journey as we work not only to renovate a cafeteria, but to also provide even more effective services to people recovering from addiction and homelessness.
